Ordered Wiener Schnitzel to take home - and it was very good!

Today we had the duck to go mega in taste, great sauce. Still very hot, despite transport of 15 minutes. I can only recommend. 😀👍

The new menu brings a breath of fresh air and makes you want more. We have found something for everyone, like the homemade ones !! Noodles with black tiger prawns or the classic schnitzel but also high-quality seasonal dishes such as the deer wrapped in pumpkin bread and of course there are also delicious burgers. 😁

Unfortunately we had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our food and then unfortunately a lot was cold and the fries and meat were over cooked. The service was very nice and it is a very nice atmosphere.

We were there on Friday. New menu, new kitchen staff. A very significant improvement! From the starter to the dessert, everything was great! And data protection is also taken into account when recording guest data. No scrap of paper that can be seen by everyone, as is sometimes the case elsewhere. The Scheeßeler Hof has developed very positively. Great praise!

Great restaurant. Excellent food. Super friendly service and our dog was allowed into the restaurant and felt comfortable. We would love to come back again. Thank you for a nice evening

I ate the Scheeßeler pan there after a long bike tour and was very disappointed. It tasted completely like chemistry. No idea why. Not even the chanterelles tasted like mushrooms. The waitress, on the other hand, was absolutely creamy, she apologized and brought me a very tasty salad. The shop itself is very nice and inviting.

I highly recommend it. Especially the baguettes that made it through the corona giant on the menu. They are super tasty. I'm very picky about baguettes and they definitely made it into my TOP 3. Everyone should have tried it.

We have been there several times. Always recommendable. The Christmas buffet was lovingly arranged, the food was delicious. Also highly recommended for family celebrations, an individual offer is made and really responds to every request. The staff is super friendly, you can tell that they enjoy their work.

Home cooking. The breaded dishes drip with fat: not nice! We complained about this shortcoming in the service, but we do not know whether the complaint has arrived in the kitchen. The fried potatoes are average. There are far better restaurants in the Scheeßel / Rotenburg area.

It gets worse from time to time. Three stars for the beautiful location. Service and food are unfortunately badly reduced

We were eating Christmas here. Unfortunately, this was a big mistake. The reception was not very friendly. We have the first drinks on request twice after 1 hour !!!!! receive. Then came the soup. We were given a terrine for 11 people and we had to run after the soup ladle. The buffet was not worth the money. The roulades were chewy, the choice of vegetables was very small and the roast beef was no longer available when we went first. The service staff was unfortunately understaffed and therefore totally overwhelmed. This was confirmed to us on request. Other drinks were brought after several orders. No second time ......

So far I've been there for the third time and my expectations have always been met. Whether á la carte or event, the kitchen - the cook understands something about her craft. The staff is very friendly and attentive and keeps an overview even with full events. The ambience is very cozy and invites you to stay longer. I also love the clean, well-kept toilets. Price-performance ratio is right - everything is affordable.

Been there for the Christmas buffet. The 2 stars are for the reception, the ambience and the service. In my opinion, the food in buffet form can be described as not tasty. The only exception were the Brussels sprouts with bacon and the baked apple ice cream. The potatoes presented were mushy, the croquettes were semi-raw, and depending on the degree of cooking, the meat was either chewy (roulades) or over-seasoned (fallow deer). The crust roast presented was edible, but the crust either was not present or was soft and mushy. The spinach with the stale fish had a consistency like kale and the red cabbage was simple glassware with too much lard, so mushy and greasy. The roast beef on the cold buffet had briefly seen the oven from the inside, so much too raw and totally sinewy. The ham amazed me the most and I am still amazed today that no ambulance was necessary, as this had to be cut myself. As I could see, some people were unable to use the sharp knife to cut slices without endangering the person next to them. I recommend changing the cook next year, since the change of ownership has already taken place. In previous years, however, the Christmas buffet meal was much better.

We recently celebrated our wedding with about 50 people in the hall upstairs. The food was really delicious and the drinks supply and selection was also great. All special requests at the buffet were taken into account and we had a very nice celebration. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the food was cold again after it took almost half an hour to get our food. Also, the service was not really nice and gave us only snotty answers. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not the best ...

Nice that it is the possibility in Scheeßel once a month to dance to go. Admission and drink prices are ok. Just a pity that you forgot the air conditioning after the renovation. Dancing at 30 ° degrees? 3 dances is still and then? Well it's getting colder again.

Lunch menu is limited, fairly priced, however portions are not big
